Heritage Lumber Company is a family owned and operated building supply store located in Saint Francis, KS.

The original lumberyard began in the early 1900’s as Foster Lumber. At the time there were two lumberyards in town. Over the decades the lumberyard changed hands a few times and eventually became the only lumberyard in Saint Francis.

In May of 2012, Gabriel & Cherish Born purchased the existing lumberyard and hardware store, now known as Heritage Lumber Company.

Today, Heritage Lumber provides quality lumber, hardware, and building supplies, including appliances, mattresses and paint to contractors, businesses, and homeowners throughout the tri-state and surrounding areas. Because of our commitment to service and meeting the needs of our customers, our business has grown from humble beginnings to become the mainstay for lumber and building supplies in the Cheyenne County area. While we have grown leaps and bounds since our beginning, what hasn’t changed is our commitment to fulfilling the needs of all our customers, large or small.
